Ukrainian dancing and folk group “Metelyk” who have been in existence for over 33 years continue to practice at the RUCC.
“Metelyk” (which is Ukrainian for butterfly) is a traditional folk dance, music and song ensemble based in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire in the south of England.
Taken around 1967 or 1968 the photo above was recently passed on to me, at that time our community used a hall at St Bernard’s Convent in High Wycombe near the Town centre and from memory I think the small lad at the front is me with Lesya to my right looking down.
